What is Scenario Paintball?

Scenario paintball is a category of paintballing game where partakers complete missions in a historical or story bound situation. Scenario paintball games are often large-scale reenactments of historical battles involving hundreds of people, like the Battle of the Bulge, or modern scenarios like storming a building and rescuing hostages. Occasionally, the scenario director may create wholly fictional settings, allowing for more creativity and imagination on the part of the participants.

To enhance the realism of the game, scenario games may also incorporate tanks, faux "air strikes", "helicopter insertions", "booby traps", and an extensive intelligence network both before and during the game.

Compared to the average speedball game, which lasts around 5 minutes, scenario games are much longer, generally lasting between 6-26 hours.

Scenario ball is also distinguished in its usage of paintball marksmen, who are seldom seen anywhere except scenario games and woodsball games.
